the pictures we colored after Family Home Evening one night.  Cody kept looking over and copying my page and then telling me he had the idea first.  It was pretty funny

 We took Papa Wayner to a BYU basketball game while they were down for the weekend.  We had to hike to the very very top row but it was still a lot of fun and obviously very yummy

He LOVED it.

That night he slept with it even.  He is in the hall because their room was in limbo with the new beds.  When I came upstairs to go to bed I saw him asleep like this.   The temple night light is from his Great Grandma Henneman.  He saw it in her DI pile before she moved to LA and asked if he could have it.

the boys got new beds!  We sold Cody's old spider man bed that we were using as a bunk bed. This was their first night in them

The movie he was listening to was so good that it put him right to sleep at about 4:30pm

Cade's 4th birthday

 For Cade's birthday this year he asked if we could go swimming.  It actually worked out well since it's been so long for most kids since they have been swimming.  We had just gone a couple weeks before with some friends but he was still SO excited for his party.
On his "fake birthday" (Saturday) we went to McDonalds for breakfast, played with friends during the day and then took 5 of his little friends swimming and then Marissa met us there with her girls and Mikey came too. We let them swim for an hour and then had pizza and cake while Cade opened gifts.

 On Sunday, which was his "real birthday" we went to church and then let him open the gifts from us.  He got the game Jenga, which they have loved playing, a light up bug that you build, and some wooden puzzles and then the big present.

 It's pretty slow but he doesn't care.  He loves riding his "motorcyle"  People have commented that he looks like he is riding a motorized wheelchair thing.

Idaho Trip: February 2014

Cade on the drive to Idaho.  It was SO long.  We took the truck so we didn't have DVD players this time.
