Scarlett's 4th Birthday Party

Scarlett's birthday is New Year's Eve so we got to go have a little party with her.  Chris was home sick so I took the kids over for a little pizza and ice cream cake and opening presents.   We don't get all 5 of them together very often since Cody is in school all day, so it was fun to let them play for an hour.

Cute Callie Pictures

Modeling her rainbow loom bracelets that Cody made for her (and her fuzzy hair)

Showing off her fuzzy hair again.

This is her hungry face.  She goes back and forth between the two while grunting until she gets some food.

Ice Skating

Cody had been begging to go ice skating leading up to Christmas break but I knew I was probably going to need an extra set of hands to help me so I waited until my Mom and Dad came down for Christmas.  We went the day after Christmas and it was perfect.  My mom sat outside the rink with Callie, I pushed Cade around in his support thing and Cody took off by himself.  My Dad was in a bit of pain after a couple minutes so he took turns helping me push Cade, and sitting out with Cade when he was tired.   We lasted just over an hour, it was perfect.  Cody biffed it a few times but for the most part, he did great!

Cody has already decided that he wants to go back for his birthday party in May.  Which works out really well, because it's free with our Pass of all Passes.  :)

Christmas 2013

Christmas morning was chaotic but at least it wasn't before 7am.   All 3 kids woke up at about the same time so we assembled the troops and headed downstairs for presents.

We opened stockings and then gifts that Santa left first.

Cody was so happy that Santa had come through with a Nintendo 3DS!
After gifts from Santa we put Callie back in bed because she turned into a sleepy grumpy pants.  It was actually really convenient because we were able to open all of the boys gifts and then focus just on Callie when she woke up an hour and a half later.

Both boys loved every single gift they opened.  Cade had to play with every gift before he could move onto anything else.

Cody has been found in this same position every day.  He loves his rainbow loom
There were definitely favorites though. Cade's favorites were his huge Thomas train track set and his remote control truck.  Cody's were his Nintendo DS and all the games he was given from different people (even though Cade has played with it more since Christmas than Cody has) and his rainbow loom.  He has made a hundred bracelets with it and loves trying new harder ones.

Then it was time for Callie's Christmas.  She had a lot of fun opening the presents and was even interested in the actual presents inside the paper, which kind of surprised me.

Christmas Eve

I love Christmas Eve probably more than Christmas Day. I love watching my kids be so excited for the next day.  We have always had Christmas Eve jammies but this year Buddy brought them for the kids along with some yummy treats and a pair of slippers.

We had a yummy dinner with my Mom and Dad and Melissa and Rob and then took it easy that night.

Christmas Babies

Callie had a super cute Christmas dress that I had bought when I was still pregnant with her and I was determined to get a cute picture of her wearing it.  It was harder than I thought.  There are some great not so "cute" ones.

Random December Pictures

Callie has earned the nickname of Fuzzhead.  Her hair cannot be tamed.

Trying on my glasses. He thought he was so handsome

It was too bright out so he needed to wear my sunglasses and then fell asleep

Wearing her cute shoes and a big girl clip on flower.

Cade said he needed to wear this hat because it kept his head warm.  He wore it everywhere that day, which included Walmart, Bed Bath and Beyond and Costco.

So proud of his snowman.  Unfortunately, it was destroyed within a couple hours by an unknown jerk.
