Just returned from 5 days of watching this from my motel window to this little boy...
throwing up all over me. gross!

I refused to reread the books, because I know the movie wont be as good... so I am going into this with an open mind. I have a feeling I will be more of a Jacob Black fan after I see the movie.

***I know he isn't wearing his seat belt... we were driving around in the Target parking lot so he could "hang on" while we are driving. I guess it makes him feel like a big kid.

funny story

Cody and I were wrestling around tonight and I acted like he hurt me and started "crying". I love seeing how gentle he can be with me when he thinks I am hurt. As soon as he noticed I was "hurt" he came over and held my face with both hands and said
"It's ok mom, it's ok. Whats wrong?"
I didn't answer and just kept "crying."
He told me, "It's ok mom, I get you bandaid."
I started laughing so he knew I was kidding, but he kept playing along.

Now he is telling me that I am in big trouble, and that I need to go to my room, and the best part... he is standing in my door way saying,
"GO YOUR ROOM, RIGHT NOW. 1...2...3... GO ROOM, NOW!

I love him.

I was going through some videos on my video camera and came up with a few I thought I would post.

Flying

terrible picture... I know. it was taken with my phone, but I love it. He is not scared of ANYTHING anymore. My dad is 6'3" and we have 20' ceilings to give you an idea of how high he was.

Late night thoughts.

I know Fridays are supposed to be something to look forward too, but it seems to me that I just finished last Friday!?! During the week it doesn't feel like time is going any faster than normal but then all the sudden its the weekend and I feel like I missed the whole week.

For most people the weekend is what they wait for all week, but for me.... its my "busy season." I work at Mona Lisa Friday and Saturday night and then Sunday morning I need to be ready for Young Womens.

Chris left us for another week so I am especially not looking forward to this weekend... its nice to have 2 boys to come home too, not just one.

And, I got a new phone. If you haven't heard of phone insurance... definitely look into it. Just aske your cell phone service provider. I pay $4.99 a month and if I loose/break/have my phone stolen I pay a $50 deductible and they send me a new phone no questions asked (besides the obvious what happened question).

It is WAY too late for me to be updating this, but here is a picture for kicks. My mom took us to Olive Garden since Chris left us and my dad is out of town... notice the spiderman costume... it doesn't come off.... EVER!

oh boy.

Look closely, but not too closely.

Cody has been potty trained for about 4 months. I haven't bought one diaper since his 2nd birthday. However, he almost always has to have Chris or I with him when he has to go potty. So I told him to go by himself the other day and he could have a treat... I heard some weird sounds so I snuck in to see what kind of mess he was making and I found this.... Peeing in my shower. nice.

I'm going!

I thought about not watching the Twilight movie just because I know it won't live up to the book, but what movie does... so I decided that since I am going to watch it eventually I might as well be the first, or close to it anyway. We are going to the 11:30 matinee Friday the 21st. The day it opens :) Definitely excited now that I bought my ticket.

I just bought stock in Kleenex Tissues. (yeah right... I am pretty sure Chris lost everything we had in the stock market long ago)
But we are definitely ready for Cold Season!!! Thanks Costco!

"Family Night"

We went to dinner with my family at P.F. Chang and then to my sister Stacy's house to play rock band for an hour. It was our "Family Night" :) Dinner was fantastic, we always go family style... order 4 or 5 entrees and share it, but my mom had some coupons so we ordered 3 appetizers, 4 entrees, 1 side dish and 3 desserts!!!! My tummy hurts now.

Then the real fun started. My parents have only watched us play Guitar Hero or Rock Band but we made my Dad jump in tonight... the wig is left over from one of Stacy's friends halloween costumes. Cody wasn't a huge fan of it, but he sure like "playing the drums"

My friend Steph sent me a text message today that really made me laugh. We have all seen and heard some really offensive political jokes but this was just funny, not mean.

The text message read:
