MK Nature Center

Saturday we started out slowly as a result of our late night Friday. Lori made us amazing french toast and then we got ready and headed to the M and K Nature Center downtown Boise. I had never been, but I can say we will go back. Cody definitely enjoyed it.

Cody insisted on pushing Cade the entire time. I love how helpful and protective he is.

Sunday, Cade and I stayed home from church. I hadn't been feeling well since Wednesday and it all caught up to me. So, we napped. :)
Chris and Cody went to church with Steve and Lori and then we had yummy enchiladas for lunch.

Western Idaho Fair

While we were in Boise over the weekend we stayed SO incredibly busy! We got into town Thursday night at midnight. Cody had fallen asleep about an hour before we got to Steve and Lori's house but when we got there he woke up so he could show them how he can ride his bike without training wheels. He almost had a full breakdown when Chris told him we were going to wait til morning to ride the bike. Fortunately, Daddy let him ride at 11 pm.

Friday, Chris went fishing and the boys and I met my sisters, parents and grandparents for lunch in Nampa and then Cody spent a couple hours with Grandma Lori while Cade and I took a nap. That night my parents picked us up and took us to the fair in Boise. I LOVE fairs!!! I can't believe I didn't get any pictures with my parents and the boys. I am kicking myself now.

The house of mirrors absolutely cracked me up. Cody ran straight into a plastic wall.

He got to play one game and we picked a baseball one since he loved tball so much. The objective was obviously to hit the ball into one of the holes. One of the reasons I picked this game was because he got a prize no matter what. But of course... he hit it in the middle hole so he got to pick whatever prize he wanted. No we have a blue fluffy elephant at our house. He was so proud of himself.

I had to post these 2 picutres. Cade was so good, especially since it was so bright and loud.

Believe it or not these pictures are in order. Even though he fell asleep he remembered I said we could go on the big slide one more time before we went home. (you can see my mom dad and Cade in the background)

Park City take 2

This time Chris's Aunt and Uncle let us use the last couple days of their time share so we headed back up to Park City for some fun in the sun! We took our neighbors with us so I would have someone to hang out with and so would Cody.
In the picture below I am holding Ashton, our little neighbor. He didn't like me in the pool because I made him try to swim.


Cody has come a long ways in learning to swim, especially since he hasn't had any formal swimming lessons yet. I have a few videos I will post soon.
We took advantage of a lot of the daytime activities they had at the resort for the kids, this one was the water balloon toss. They lost :)
Cade slept over on the farthest side of the bed on the floor, but every time I laid him down for a nap Cody and Ashton would sneak over and take his blankets off so they could play with him.

It has been SO hot lately. Fortunately it is starting to warm up a little now so we can go back outside without having to be in water. I took the boys down to the park with Cody's friend Branson. Marissa came down with Scarlett too but I didn't get any pictures of the babies. :(

The boys were being boys and had to figure out how my umbrella worked. I think they had more fun figuring the umbrella out then they did playing at the park.

Big Blue Eyes

Check out these blue eyed boys. Since we were running late for church on Sunday, Chris took Cody to get him dressed and I took Cade... when we walked out of the rooms, they were matching so I had to take a picture. Both were wearing tan slacks and baby blue, white and yellow tops. So handsome.
