Yesterday I was laying down with Cody as he was getting ready to take a nap... he sat up and said,
"Mom, my nose is bleeding!!!"
I laughed and said, "No bud, you're fine. Its not bleeding."
He insisted, "Yes, it is! My nose is bleedin'"
I realized he just had a runny nose but all he knows is that it could be bleeding. So when I told him, "Code, your nose isn't bleeding, your nose is running."
He giggled the cutest giggle I have ever heard, and quietly said, "that's funny... You're funny mom. My nose isn't running."
and for the next couple minutes I would occasionally hear giggle and say to himself, "that's so funny."

small update
This first picture just cracks me up. I has stuff in the dryer tonight and Cody had gone in to put his underwear that he spilled water on in the dryer. He was in there for a few minutes when I started to wonder what he could be doing. He had decided it was too warm to get off. So, he was taking a nap.
And this one is self-explanatory. Baby #2. I think I might be starting to come out of the morning sickness stuff... I have been talking the unison vitamin B6 combo every night so I don't feel sick in the mornings, its usually the evening when the pills have worn off. I have been able to eat and keep down more foods the last week. That has helped immensely with my irritability. I try not to be but I have been kind of a grouch... tired, hungry and sick don't make for a good combination with me.
We are headed into week 2 here in Utah... I have a lot of work cut out for me this week.

Them are fightin' words
Cody got in trouble the other day for calling me a "bum head" so I couldn't help but laugh histarically when we were wrestling the other day and he said,
"YOU'RE A BAGEL HEAD!!!"
What a goof!

My little gangster boy
Swimming with Blakeslie
Fishing trip round 2
Chris wanted to take Cody fishing again, but knew I had to be there so it was safer.
This first picture shows how we got across the river... Chris had to carry both of us, across and then back.
Once we were to the other side, Cody wasn't really as interested in fishing as he was in drinking his juice and eating his pringles.
Working hard to catch a fish... obviously after the pringles and juice were gone.
mid catch!

Daddy's little buddy
I LOVE these pictures of Chris and Cody!
This one is self explanable.
These, however, need a little explaining. Chris was headed out to shoot some mice and Cody had to tag along! He has his own little plastic gun and if you enlarge the picture you will notice an orange thing on the back of Cody's head... he is wearing his swimming goggles. They go everywhere with him.

I can't believe I am just barely posting these but I know if I don't do it I will regret it. These are from the Stampede Rodeo. We had a blast with Hayden and Amber Frew!
Cody and I hit up D&B Supply right before so we could get him some sweet cowboy boots... and a pair of wranglers...and a cool cowboy shirt!

This was the next day. I had to go to work during lunch and Chris said that he was working upstairs while Cody was supposed to be taking a nap and then Cody walked into the room he was working in with his full cowboy outfit on and said, "Dad, lets go eat Pizza." So, they did.
When I took this picture I asked Cody to show me his wrangler bum.

Big News TAKE 2
Those who we talk to on a regular basis have most likely heard the news, but to those who we mainly only get to communicate with through blogs... We are expecting BABY #2.
I'm due the middle of February 2010 (obviously). So, that makes me 11 weeks pregnant today. Anyway, that is my explanation for lack of blog posts. Right after our fun 4th of July weekend, that I was sick with Strep throat the whole time, I started feeling extremely nauseous! I could handle it the first couple days, then I was stuck in bed. My poor poor husband. I don't sing his praises near enough, and well he deserves it now more than ever. He has been such a trooper. It takes a lot for me to throw up and I don't think I have thrown up more than maybe 2o times but that is A LOT for me. Lots of gagging and dry heaving. I feel like an idiot sometimes cause its in public but I can't help it. A couple friends told me about the Unisom/Vitamin B6 combination and that has been an absolute lifesaver. I have been sleeping A LOT!!!! and only nauseous at night for the most part thanks to the meds! I wasn't sick at all with Cody, so this completely knocked my knees out from under me. I am on the rebound now, hopefully and have started eating again and am now beginning to pack up our lives for our move to Utah in 2 weeks.

Fishing with Daddy
I had to be up at girls camp most of yesterday since it was the last night, so Chris took Cody fishing. I was so proud of him for taking pictures for me!
Chris said that there were many freak outs because of the bugs and mosquitos around him but that he had a good time, Chris would catch the fish and let Cody try to reel it in. He even slipped in to the water one time. (just one leg)
