Halloween

Halloween was long this year it felt like.  We had Halloween activities 3 days in a row but fortunately my kids had easy costumes with no face paint, so it wasn't too bad.
Tuesday we had Chris's company Halloween party after school. Wednesday we went to the train in Lindon for the first time.  We LOVED it.   I wish I had known about it the last 4 years.  It is something that some families do for the community.  I heard that about 15,000 people went this year.
Then right after the train we went to our ward Halloween party.
Thursday the kids had their Halloween parties at school and then right after school we went down to the park in PG where the businesses line up and hand out candy.  As soon as Chris got home from work we went over to Paul and Jill's to let the kids show off their costumes and trick or treat and then back to our house for dinner and trick or treating in our neighborhood.  Busy, but fun!

All 3 of the kids went as skylanders characters.  Cody was Spyro, Callie was Cali and Cade was Crusher

trick or treating with Scarlett

this was Cade's favorite house.  Last year he was terrified of it.  He went back 3 times.

our neighbors right across the road did a haunted circus in their garage.  Cade went through 4 times.  He was scared but kept asking to go back.  He would say that he wanted to go through so he could get the popcorn at the end, but he never ate any of the 4 bags of popcorn.

Callie: October

We are having so much fun with our little Callie Bear.  She is growing and changing so fast.

she is starting to out grow her swing

Cody realized that his build-a-bear was about the same size as Callie so she should be able to wear the bears outfit.  This is the result

Happy Girl

This blanket that Marissa made her had been a life saver.  She loves to have her face right in the blanket so it's nice to have one that has lots of breathing room.

a rare picture.  Dressed and smiling :)

Cody made this cute hat for Callie in church.  The boys were laughing pretty hard

Cody had been given his chores to do and he decided to make Cade's bed that is on the floor in our room too.  He left this sweet note on Cade's pillow for him.

Cody's soccer season Finale

Watching out big soccer player has been a blast too.  He just keeps getting better and better every game and puts everything he has into each game.  His team is undefeated since they started playing together last fall. I especially love games when kids from his class or his old kindergarten class are playing against them.  They definitely are there to win but in between goals the kids are rough housing and laughing with each other.

Cade's soccer season Finale

Our little soccer player had quite a season.  We tried not to make it about winning or scoring goals but when he scored at least 3 times every game it was hard not to.  His last game of the season he scored 13 goals.  It was kind of embarrassing after a while.  One of the cute little girls on the other team put two thumbs down right in his face after about his 9th goal even.  Fortunately, it didn't phase him and he just kept going.  They didn't even play a whole game.  Shortly into the 4th quarter the other teams coach said, "I think we've had enough" and ended the game.
My sister took these pictures for us at one of his games.
