Easter 2013

Easter was pretty low-key this year for us since I haven't felt like doing anything.

The kids decorated Easter eggs, we went to the city egg hunt and the Easter Bunny brought little gift baskets for kids and hid the eggs they colored but nothing fancy.

  I was really proud of Cade.  He only got 2 eggs in the egg hunt, which was 2 better than last year, but when we saw a little boy crying because he didn't get any eggs and I asked Cade if he would share, he was more than happy to give up one of his eggs. 

 The Easter Bunny came through for the boys and left some yummy candy, a couple little toys and a new video game.

While the big kids were at school one nice day we snuck down to the wood park for a little bit of little kid fun time.

Cody and Cade have recently started to get along better.  There is still a lot of screaming and picking on each other but there are fun times mixed in also. 

One of Chris and my favorite things to do is watch them on the video camera when they are supposed to be going to bed.

Cade has become quite the social butterfly lately and can't wait to be able to play outside with friends.  He gets to play with Robby twice a week after preschool and every other day he plays outside with Presley or Kate.

Kangaroo Zoo with Scarlett

We stole Scarlett one day right after Ivy was born and took her to Kangaroo Zoo with us so that Marissa could have some time.  My kids had a blast with her.  I think she got knocked down and run over more times than she is used to but she was a trooper and kept jumping right back up to play with the boys.
